Boxee: Entertainment in the age of democratized content
Have you been wondering exactly what is available these days to Facebook using, Twitter tweeting, TV watching, PC using, ‘Interactive’ people like you? Well, one avenue to pursue, if you haven’t already, is a service called, “Boxee.”
Some people watch all of their TV through Boxee. They subscribe to NetFlix on Boxee…watch numerous web content shows, and movies via Hulu. What Boxee does is maximize the web content viewing experience and has a smooth interface for social networking WHILE watching media content on your regular television.
In the following video, Robert Scoble speaks with Andrew Kippen of Boxee. Andrew explains how the company came to be, its capabilities, and what’s next in the future of entertainment.
